Myrtle Alice "Myrt" Hill (nee Smyth) (1911 - 11 April 2007) was the mother of Loraine Currie.
"Myrtle Hill died peacefully April 11, 2007 in Fort Frances, after 95 vibrant years.
Predeceased by her husband Neil and brother Wilbert. Family includes - Doug and Loraine Currie, her two beloved grandchildren and families, brothers Stanley and Harvey Smyth, sisters-in-law Lauretta, Jessie and Bev, as well as treasured nieces and nephews. She was the very best of the best."
"PEACEFULLY ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 11, 2007 AT THE LAVERENDRYE HOSPITAL, FORT FRANCES, ONTARIO, MYRTLE ALICE HILL OF FORT FRANCES PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 95.
MYRTLE WAS BORN IN THUNDER BAY, ONT TO THE LATE WILBERT AND ALICE SMYTH. SHE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY HER DAUGHTER LORAINE (DOUG) CURRIE OF FORT FRANCES, ONT AND FONDLY REMEMBERED BY HER GRANDCHILDREN.
MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, FORT FRANCES, ONT ON SATURDAY APRIL 14, 2007 AT 10.00 A.M.
INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THUNDER BAY, ONT, AT A LATER DATE."
