Gerald "Chatter" Townend (1931 - 2011) was the eldest son of Dorothy Townend and grandson of Christena LeMaistre, one of the "Almonte Sisters".
Marriage and family
Chatter married Bobbie Townend on 9 July 1955 and had four children:
He also has ten grandchildren as of 2014: Nathan, Zachary, Joshua, Lucas, Jacob, Noah, Abby, Eli, Reed and John.
As an adult Chatter was not close to his brothers Ted and Randy. He and his family was essentially estranged from his brothers and their families.
Death
Chatter died in 2011. He was buried at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Carleton Place.
