Deborah Shannon, born 3 March 1953, is the daughter of Vivian Shannon and the granddaughter of Edna Buxton.
She is first cousins once removed with Ron Currie.
Growing up, Deborah was a scholarship dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, BA graduate from U of Manitoba. Worked for Expo 86, artistic, public speaker, well travelled.
Marriage and children
She was married to Ron Hamilton, and now divorced. She later married Thomas Calkin, Deborah bore two sons, Jonathan, and Benjamin, who sadly died in 1992 and 93, at birth.
