Myrtle Alice "Myrt" Hill (nee Smyth) (1911 - 11 April 2007) was the mother of Loraine Currie.
She had three brothers: Stanley, Wilbert, and "crooner" Harvey Smyth. Myrt's niece was Harvey Smyth's daughter Marilyn.

"Myrtle Hill died peacefully April 11, 2007 in Fort Frances, after 95 vibrant years.
Predeceased by her husband Neil and brother Wilbert. Family includes - Doug and Loraine Currie, her two beloved grandchildren and families, brothers Stanley and Harvey Smyth, sisters-in-law Lauretta, Jessie and Bev, as well as treasured nieces and nephews. She was the very best of the best."

MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, FORT FRANCES, ONT ON SATURDAY APRIL 14, 2007 AT 10.00 A.M.
INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THUNDER BAY, ONT, AT A LATER DATE."
