ARNOLD C. GILMOUR
The death of Arnold C. Gilmour, of 34 Malcolm Street, Almonte, Ontario, occurred suddenly in the Almonte General Hospital on July 16th, 1975. He was in his 47th year. The youngest son of the late Charlotte Langstaff and Gavin Gilmour, he was born in Almonte on November 26th, 1928. A member of the United Church of Canada, he was educated in the Public and High Schools in Almonte. He was married to Marilyn Houston on September 16th, 1950. Mr. Gilmour is survived by one daughter, Andrea and two sons, David and Angus, all at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Maurice (Lancaster); Lloyd (Niagara Falls) and Howard (Toronto) and two sisters, Muriel (Mrs. Wilf Lindsay) Almonte and Kay (Mrs. Norman Hogg, Ottawa). Predeceased by a brother, Wilfred. The funeral was held from the Kerry Funeral Home, Elgin Street, Almonte, July 17th, 1975 with burial at the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Rev. D. C. McQuaig officiated. Pallbearers were Steven Gilmour, Paul Gilmour, Ronald Lindsay, Allan Timmins, Gordon Clifford and Ronald Robertson.
