Bryan William Ogden (1936 - 7 December 2007) was a Winnipeg man who worked for CN Rail for 39 years before retiring and starting an income tax preparation business.
Early life
He was born in 1936 to Arthur Ogden and his wife Irene, who was one of the daughters of John Cooke who migrated to Transcona from Wales around 1913.
Later his stepmother was Beatrice Ogden.
He babysat for Bill Currie a few times in Winnipeg. He grew to be about 6'8" tall. He diod not have any association with his Aunt Lucy Currie's side of the family after the 1960s.

It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Bryan Ogden announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on December 7, 2007.
Predeceased by his mother Irene[1], his father Arthur[2] and his stepmother Beatrice[3], he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Elsie[4], his daughter, Deborah[5], his son-in-law, Brent[6] and his precious grandson, Logan[7].
Bryan retired from CN Rail after 39 years of service and then built a small business of Income Tax preparation. He enjoyed both careers immensely - the comradery of his peers at CN and the meeting of many wonderful people while doing taxes.
He was a gentle giant who always put his family first and was a wonderful caring husband, father and grandfather. He constantly reminded us to "Think Positive". We will sorely miss his guidance.
