Edward Langley Snook was an Englishman who emigrated to Canada, following in the footsteps of his older brother George Snook. He also settled in Port Arthur, just like his brother.
When Edward Langley Snook was born in November 1881 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, his father, John, was 39 and his mother, Maria, was 40. He had one son and two daughters with Lèllie Eliza Humphrey between 1912 and 1920. He died on January 27, 1952, in Port Arthur, Ontario, at the age of 70.
