Ronald Charles "Ron" Currie (1947-) is a retired high school mathematics teacher from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He is Michael Currie's father.

Early life

Currie was born in Winnipeg, Ontario on 5 October 1947, to Jack Currie and Lucy Currie. His paternal grandfather was Alex Currie.

In 1954 his family moved to Port Arthur.

He attended Pine Street School, Port Arthur Collegiate Institute [1], and Victoria College [2] at the University of Toronto [3].

Family

His grandparents furiously reproduced in the absence of birth control, leaving him with a family tree littered with twelve paternal cousins and thirteen maternal cousins, (including himself and his siblings in the counts).

Excluding self and siblings, whereas his son Michael has only 4 paternal and 8 maternal cousins, Ron has 9 paternal and 10 maternal cousins, 58% more.

Later life

He continues to live in Port Arthur (since amalgamated as Thunder Bay) to this day.
