Ellen Duga Green (née Carrick) (born circa 1944) is as of 2024 the last living grandchild of J.J. Carrick (out of a total of five).
She was born in Toronto to Don Carrick and his wife. Her brother is George Manton Carrick, who "liked to play tricks on her as a child," according to George Carrick's 2023 obituary.
She attended the exclusive Toronto all-girls' school, Branksome Hall, graduating in 1961. [3]
She has married twice:
- She married a man named Mr. Green, likely in the 1960s. They either divorced or he died sometime prior to 2013.
- In 2000, her close friend Leona Duga (née Robertson) died. In 2013, she married Leona's widower, a Mr. Duga, and as of 2013 "enjoys a busy life with her children and grandchildren." [3]
She has had several children, approximately five, and approximately seven grandchildren:
