Funds raised through the Foundation have been directed to graduating secondary students in the form of scholarships, to help fund the Grade 8 Awards of Excellence and to support the Student Assistance Fund (SAF). The SAF provides funds to each school to help students address financial obstacles including field trip, basic school supplies and before and after school programs to name a few. The name of the Foundation was changed in 2015 to better increase name recognition for potential donors.
