Matt Canning
Matthew Pleaman "Matt" Canning (also sometimes known as Matthew "Pleamon" Canning) (born 21 December 1981) is a landlord, cryptocurrency enthusiast, and bodybuilding entrepreneur. He was raised in, and continues to live in, Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Early Life
Matthew's middle name is an extremely rare name, which is either "Pleamon" or the slightly less rare "Pleaman". This name possibly came from a relative from Newfoundland. Matthew has both Newfoundland and Italian ancestry.
He and Michael Currie first met in September 1990 in the 3th grade at Pine Street School.
In December 1998, his family house on Windemere burned down. This made it a "depressing year". [2]
In 1999 he was friends with a levitating magician. [3]
He and Currie have both used the services of Herman Hanshke.
He received his High School diploma from Hammaskjold High School [1] and his university degree from Lakehead University [2].
Later Life
On 27 December 2013, he and Currie visited A New Day Records.
He has continued to reside on Windemere Avenue in Thunder Bay as of 2025.
