Dorothy Townend
Dorothy M. Townend (nee Lemaitre) (17 January 1911 - 1983) was a daughter of Christena Lemaistre, one of the Almonte Sisters.
Marriage and family
She married Herbert A. Townend (1908-1996).
In 1972 she's listed as living at 170 Munro Street, Carleton Place, Ontario, with her husband, a "superintendent".
As of 2018 there is a car parked outside that house called "Townend Plumbing & Heating Ltd.", so evidently her offspring have continued to live in that house!
Founded in 1960, Townend Plumbing and Heating has always taken pride in our family roots.
