Douglas John "Doug" Currie (born 1943) is a retired high school guidance counsellor from Fort Frances, Ontario.

Early life

Doug was born in 1943 as the middle child to Jack and Lucy Currie.

Marriage and family

Doug married Lorraine and had two children:

  • Ian Neil Currie (born 1968)
  • Jeffrey John "Jeff" Currie (born 1970)

He also has four grandchildren:

  • Grady D. Currie (born 2001), from Ian
  • Madelyn Jade Currie (born 2003), from Ian
  • Abbey Currie (born 2002), from Jeff
  • Jackson Colin (born 2005), from Jeff
