TOWNEND, Roberta "Bobbie" (nee White) "A Child of Mary" Peacefully in hospital on Mother's Day surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 11, 2014 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry "Chatter" Townend. Loving mother of Guy (Vickie), Michael, Rick (Angela) and Trish Huntley (Patrick). Cherished Gramma of Nathan, Zachary, Joshua, Lucas, Jacob, Noah, Abby, Eli, Reed and John. Bobbie will be greatly missed by her siblings Carl (Joe), Ivan (Marilyn), Edith, Dick (Lynn), David (Gail), Frances (Joe). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Ken, Raymond and by a sister Rita. Friends may call at the Carleton Place Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 61 Lake Avenue West on Monday, May 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 28 Hawthorne Avenue, Carleton Place on Tuesday, May 13, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
