David Harold Newman standing at the intersection of Mersea Road 5 and Mersea Road 12, north of Leamington, Ontario. This intersection marks the location of James Newman's farm at Lot 11, Concession Road 5 (modern Mersea Road 5), Mersea Township, which Newman purchased in 1868. The field visible in the background is believed to be part of the original Newman family farm. David Harold Newman is a descendant of James Newman.
