Lorne Gleeson was the patriach of the Gleeson family of Fort William.
Lorne Gleeson and wife Zip had five children in Fort William:
- Dr. Gary Michael Gleeson (1935 - 2003) obituary [1]. First married Rhodella (3 children), then they divorced and she moved back to Fort William. He stayed in Toronto and remarried to Mila (no issue).
- Dan, who married Marissa
- Rod, who married Ione
- Fay, who married Robert "Rob" "Robbie" Steadwell [2]
- Bryer, who married Sig Wanecki
- Jean Jones-Arthurs
These children formed "The Five Gleesons" acrobatic troupe. It appears there are six siblings, so presumably one was not part of the troupe, but it's not clear which one.
