Lorne Gleeson

Lorne Gleeson was the patriach of the Gleeson family of Fort William.

Lorne Gleeson and wife Zip had five children in Fort William:

• Dr. Gary Michael Gleeson (1935 - 2003) obituary [1]. First married Rhodella (3 children), then they divorced and she moved back to Fort William. He stayed in Toronto and remarried to Mila (no issue).
• Dan, who married Marissa
• Rod, who married Ione
• Fay, who married Robert "Rob" "Robbie" Steadwell [2]
• Bryer, who married Sig Wanecki
• Jean Jones-Arthurs, who is adopted? or otherwise not the same type of sibling as the others.

The first five of these children formed "The Five Gleesons" acrobatic troupe.

Gary, Dan, and Rod all became chiropractors, and Dan and Rod stayed in Thunder Bay.
