Alexander Edward "Alex" Newman Atherton , born (1977-09-08) 8 September 1977 (age 48), is a Yoga teacher living in Vancouver.

He is the eldest son of Lynn Newman.

He spent several years in China.

In August 2016, he married naturopath Samantha Gray and became step-father to her two daughters.
