John Newman is a son of Harold Newman who lives in Nanaimo, BC.

John was born to Harold Newman and Marie Sloan.

He has a wife, Laura, and according to his mother Marie's obituary from 2008, lived with her in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

He was estranged from his siblings as of 2018.
