John Newman

John Gordon Newman (born 13 March 1952) is a son of Harold Newman and Marie (Sloane) Newman, living in Nanaimo, British Columbia. He was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, the youngest of the three Newman children, after his brother David and sister Loraine.[1]
He married Laura Schinkel, with whom, according to his mother Marie's 2008 obituary, he lived in Nanaimo; the couple later divorced.[1][2] He was estranged from his siblings David and Loraine as of 2018.[1]
Children
John and Laura had at least two children:
- Alicia Newman (born c. 1984), of the Coquitlam–Burnaby area of British Columbia, who studied horticulture[1]
- Daniel John Newman (born c. 1987), of Nanaimo, British Columbia[1][2]
