Marilyn Hermiston

Marilyn Hermiston (nee Currie) (born circa 1965) is a Canadian woman who has lived her whole life in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Early life
She is the only daughter of Clyde Currie.
Education and career
From 1984? to 1987?, she was educated at Red River College, University of Manitoba, where she took a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Technology.
She worked from 1975 to 2002 at Winnipeg School Division, and she is now retired.
Marriages and children
She married her first husband, Mr. Johnson, and informally adopted his three daughters:
Later, these girls' biological mother, Yvonne, remarried to Marilyn's brother Allan Currie, leading to the unusual situation where she and her sibling were (informal) step-parents to the same three children.
Then she had two biological children with her first husband:
- Sharlene "Shar" Telles-Langdon (born 28 November 1970)
- Shaun Frederick Moffat (born 12 September 1973)
She then married Doug Hermiston. He already had three children from a previous relationship. They were not adopted by Marilyn because their mother remained a significant part of their lives.
- Douglas Hermiston (born December 1961)
- Kim Hupé (nee Hermiston) (born circa 1965)
- Sean Hermiston (born circa 1970)
