Sean Hermiston
Sean Allan "Hermy" Hermiston, born 5 June 1970, is a Canadian man with children by at least three women. He has been estranged from his parents and family since about 2001.
Early life
Sean was born to Doug Hermiston and his first wife, Linda Shute. In 1981, Doug married Marilyn Hermiston, who became his stepmother.
Career
Hermiston has worked in both accounting and hospitality management.
From 2001 to 2002, he worked as an Accounting Bookkeeper at Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton LaBonte LLP.
He then spent over a decade in restaurant management:
- General Manager, Applebees International (2002–2013, 11 years)
- General Manager, Omailles Irish Pub (2013–2014, 1 year)
- Hospitality Manager, Montanas BBQ & Bar (2014–2016, 2 years)
- General Manager, Buffet Royale Carvery (2019–2022, 3 years)
- General Manager, Tatemado Mexican Cuisine (October 2021 – March 2022, 6 months) — opened the restaurant and directed all operations and procedures
On his LinkedIn profile as of 2026, he also describes himself as a bookkeeper and hospitality specialist.
Marriages and family
Sean has been married twice, and also had an 8-year relationship plus others. He has approximately six children. His oldest children are:
- Katie Hermiston (born 1991 or 1992)
- A son, a bit younger than Katie
With his second wife Caroline Hermiston he had twins, both born born 10 September 1997:
According to Louise Boddy he may have had another child between 1997 and 2006, but this child's name, mother and any other details are not known.
With Louise Boddy he had another child:
- Seanie Hermiston (born 21 November 2006)
He also did cause another pregnancy in another woman after 2006, but according to Louise in 2019, as far as she knows this child was not brought to term.
Personal
Hermiston is estranged from his father and stepmother; they have not seen him since 2001.
