A. McDonald was an ice dealer in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario. The surrogate-court probate records list two different decedents named A. McDonald in the district; this article covers the one whose estate was probated at Port Arthur in 1912.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1912 and inventoried at $21,736.90. He died testate, leaving a will.[1]
