Megan Jeanne Kett Obituary Megan Jeanne Kett

August 14th, 1984 – March 3rd, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Megan Jeanne Kett, who left this world far too soon at the age of 40. Megan was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose adventurous spirit shaped every part of her life.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Megan later followed her heart and spouse north, moving to Hornepayne five years ago. She embraced the boreal forest and the northern way of life, finding peace and purpose in the wild. Whether she was hunting, fishing, or simply taking in the beauty of nature, she thrived in the great outdoors.

Megan’s greatest joy was her family. She shared a deep and loving bond with her spouse, Adam Moreau, and was a devoted mother to her children, Mason, Hayden, and Rowan. She was their guide, protector, and biggest supporter, passing on her love for adventure and resilience to each of them.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Carr; her sister, Shalaine (Devin); and her extended Moreau family, including Adam’s parents, Richard and Sandra Moreau, and his siblings, Kelly (Kurt), Devin (Suzy), and Mike (Cortney). As well as many other family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her father, Brian Kett.

Megan’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love for those she held close will never be forgotten. Though she is gone too soon, her spirit lives on in the land she loved, the family she nurtured, and the countless hearts she touched.

A celebration of Megan’s life will be held at a future date, where family and friends can gather to honor her memory. Donations to Megan's children may be made at https://gofund.me/34ee42e9
