Donald "Don" Larsen is the eldest biological son of Betty Buxton, the niece of Lucy Currie.
He grew up in Winnipeg with his parents and brother Gary Larsen.
As of 2026, he describes himself as a "Project Management Consultant and part time opera singer."
He attended Nanaimo District Secondary School
In 2002, he worked for Noblestar Systems.
He retired in 2026. He met Ron Currie and Mary Ann Currie during their visit to Winnipeg on 7 June 2026.
