Ken Newman

Kenneth David "Ken" Newman (born 24 August 1964) is a son of David Harold Newman and Lois Jean Newman. He was born on the Prairies and raised in Terrace, British Columbia, where he still lives.

In 2016 he travelled with his father David to southwestern Ontario and Thunder Bay to visit the places connected with the family's history, and afterwards wrote an article about the trip, "The Travelling Kind: In Search of the Newman Family in Essex County," for the newsletter of the Essex County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society.[2]

As of 2026 he is the Planning Manager for the City of Terrace, BC.[3]

Family

Ken married Wendy.[4] They have four children, including fraternal twins:

  • Brooklyn
  • Cassidy
  • Bailey
  • Madison
