Doctor Laura Virginia Kenzie (born 19 December 1983) is a Canadian veterinarian.

Early life

Laura was born 19 December 1983 to Jim and Sandra Kenzie, in Georgetown, Ontario. Her middle name is for Virginia Worstell, her step-great grandmother (the second wife of her mother's mother's father Clint Newman), affectionately called "Grandma Ginny".

Education

As a child, Laura was homeschooled by her mother for Grades 1-4, attended the Halton Waldorf School from Grades 5-8, and Acton District High School from Grades 9-12.

She studied at Durham College, in Oshawa, Ontario, from about 2006 to 2008, obtaining a diploma in Entertainment Administration.

She studied at The University of Guelph, in Guelph, Ontario, from (dates needed), obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and Science.

In about 2015, she moved to Basseterre, the capital city of the Caribbean island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. She attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. For her clinical year (2018/2019), she lived in Dublin, Ireland, doing internship placements with the University of Dublin.

In 2019, she completed her Doctorate of Vetrinary Medicine, and passed her North American Veterinary License Exam.
