Lindsey Newman
Lindsey Newman is the daughter of David Edward Newman and Leslie Tolson, and the granddaughter of Jack Newman.
Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of California, Irvine (2001–2005), which included a year-long international exchange at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan (2003–2004). She is certified at Level N1 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, indicating full professional fluency.
Lindsey began her career at Pioneer Electronics in Long Beach, California (2005–2009), progressing from Marketing Coordinator to Brand Marketing Specialist. She then worked as a producer and international sales specialist at T.O Entertainment, Inc. in the Greater Tokyo Area (2009–2012), followed by a period as a freelance Japanese–English translator.
Since January 2013, Lindsey has worked at Nintendo of America in Redmond, Washington, progressing through bilingual product marketing and product experience roles. As of 2024, she holds the title of Principal, Product Experience. She is a first-degree black belt in karate and formerly taught at Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios (2020–2023).
Lindsey lives in Redmond, WA. She is single.
