Interviewer: Hi Don Carrick, I'd love to learn about your life and help create or revise your biographical article. Let's start - what's your FULL legal name (including middle names or nicknames)? Interviewee: My name is Donald Day Carrick, and my nickname is Don. Interviewer: [happy] Thank you, Don! It's great to meet you. I see from our records that you were born on September 18, 1906, in Port Arthur. Could you tell me a bit about your early childhood and family background? Interviewee: Well, I was, uh, I also had two brothers, and I went to a private school in Toronto. Um, but certainly, I did spend a, a few years growing up in Port Arthur. That's right. Interviewer: [interested] Thank you for sharing that, Don. It's fascinating to hear about your early years between Port Arthur and Toronto. Could you tell me more about your two brothers? What were their names, and what was your relationship like with them growing up? Interviewee: Actually, I'd like to end this interview now. Interviewer: [warm] I completely understand, Don. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me today and sharing a bit about your childhood and brothers. Your contributions are valuable for the Curriepedia article. I wish you all the best!
