Fascinating how the same problem recurred:

• Clint broke contact with William after William's divorce. This led Harold to be isolated from the family; so Harold's children had to make contact with their Uncle Clint's family.

• Gene broke contact with Clint after Clint's divorce. His daughter Karen had to make contact with her uncles' family later in life.
