Template:Probate source/doc

This template produces a standard citation to the Canadian Regional Historical Wealth Micro-Data Collection for an individual probate record. Place it inside <ref>...</ref> tags so it renders as a footnote.

Usage

<ref>{{Probate source|name=M.G.M. McLeod|occupation=contractor|loc=Port Arthur|year=1885|will=1}}</ref>

All parameters are optional:

• name — decedent name as recorded in the probate record
• occupation — occupation as recorded
• loc — place of residence (use the normalised place where possible)
• year — year of death / probate
• will — surrogate-court will or file number
• court — court name (defaults to "surrogate court")
