Will Rutledge

William M. "Will" Rutledge attended Hammarskjold High School is the founder of New Day Records.

His late mother has Finnish background. His father was an accountant but retired in 2016.

He later met Leigh Potvin, then a PhD student at Lakehead University, sold the business, a moved to Cape Breton. As of 2026 he has moved back to Thunder Bay. He has two children, born circa 2019 and 2022. Leigh is as of 2026 Director of the School of Outdoor Recreation, Parks & Tourism at Lakehead University.
